Official rulebook

Read this before you connect.

SAFR is a public co-operative first responder server. We work together against the AI — the focus is tactical realism, proper procedure and teamwork, not scoring hits on each other.

8 sections · 26 rules

  1. 1-01 Zero tolerance. Racism, hate speech, homophobia, slurs and bigotry of any kind result in immediate, permanent removal. No warning, no appeal. Discord’s Terms of Service apply here too.
  2. 1-02 Minimum age — 13+. If a staff member reasonably believes you are under 13, they may remove you. That is not a debate to have in-game; appeal it through the proper channel.
  3. 1-03 Players aged 13–18 are held to a stricter standard and should expect less leeway before a kick or ban. Behave and you will never notice this rule exists.
  4. 1-04 Respect & teamwork. Treat other players as colleagues. No toxicity, harassment or baiting. No lone-wolfing, and do not sabotage another unit’s patrol or scene.
  1. 3-01 Realistic uniforms. Clothing must be realistic to the department you are representing — LSPD, LSSD or SAHP. No meme outfits, no civilian clothing on duty, no mixing agencies.
  2. 3-02 Grooming standards. Unnaturally coloured hair and eccentric styling are not permitted on shift. If a real department would not allow it, neither do we.
  3. 3-03 Department consistency. Your uniform, vehicle and jurisdiction must match. Do not patrol in an LSPD cruiser wearing an SAHP uniform.
  1. 4-01 Keep it concise. Dispatch needs vital tactical information and nothing else — callsign, status, location.
  2. 4-02 The radio is for the active operation. Casual conversation, arguments and comedy belong somewhere else. Someone may be trying to call for backup over you.
  3. 4-03 Dispatch is for commands. Do not use the dispatch channel to talk to other officers — use your radio channel for unit-to-unit traffic.
  1. 6-01 Mandatory triage. After any major altercation, examine yourself, your partners and your suspects.
  2. 6-02 Treat bleeding. Roleplay treating gunshot and velocity wounds to stop bleedout. Do not walk off severe damage as if nothing happened.
  3. 6-03 Medevac & downtime. If critically wounded, play the recovery. Call for transport or take a tactical pause before returning to full duty.
  1. 7-01 Resource management. Gear is tied to the economy. Account for your rounds — no spray and pray. Do not hoard or exploit high-tier weapons.
  2. 7-02 Standard loadouts. Deploy with standard gear. Rifles are for high-risk calls or a situation that has organically escalated into one — not for a traffic stop.
  3. 7-03 Pursuit policy. Code 3 is for genuine emergencies. Clear intersections. PIT manoeuvres must be at safe speeds and away from populated areas.
  1. 8-01 Do not argue with staff in-game. Comply first. The field is not the place to have it out — arguing on the radio drags everyone else’s session down and will itself be actioned.
  2. 8-02 How to report staff. Staff are held to the rules too. Open a ticket in Discord with who, when and any evidence. Reports made properly are taken seriously; shouting about it in-game is not a report.
  3. 8-03 Report exploits, do not abuse them. Game-breaking bugs and money or XP glitches must be reported immediately. Abusing a bug you knew about is a ban, and “I was just testing it” is not a defence.
The common sense clause

No rulebook covers everything. If something is clearly against the spirit of a co-operative first responder server, it is against the rules — whether or not it is written above.

San Andreas First Response Administration — rules are enforced at staff discretion and may be updated at any time.
