Frequently asked.
Joining, departments and getting help
How do I join a department?
Join the server and use /mdt. From there you can select one of the
three main departments: LSPD, SAHP or LSSD. There is no application and no
waiting — all three are open the moment you connect.
Can I roleplay as a civilian or a firefighter?
No. This is not something we do, and not something we plan to implement. SAFR is a first responder server: everyone on the ground is police.
My game is crashing. What should I do?
Restart FiveM, make sure your game is updated, and clear your FiveM cache. If it keeps happening, post your crash code in the crash channel on Discord so we can look at it.
I found a bug. Where do I report it?
In the bug reports channel on Discord. Include what you were doing when it happened — it is the difference between a fix and a shrug.
How do I report a player?
Use /reportauto in game, or open a player report ticket on
Discord. Provide evidence wherever you can.
How do I appeal a punishment?
Submit a punishment appeal through a support ticket on Discord.
Buying, delivery and refunds
Where can I buy items or perks?
On our store page.
I made a purchase but haven't received it.
Open a support ticket on Discord and include your transaction or order information so we can find the payment.
Are purchases refundable?
No — all purchases are final. Our full policy is on the refunds and billing page.
Claim it once, and it follows you.
A claimed callsign is locked to your character and synced automatically to your radio and your MDT. You do not type it into either of them by hand.
-
/claimcallsign [callsign]Permanently locks a callsign to your character and syncs it to your radio and MDT. -
/removecallsignDeletes your permanent callsign and frees it for someone else to use.
Your callsign must match one of these two formats exactly.
Letters are capitalised for you — typing 1a-64 saves as
1A-64.
100–199 is staff
Those callsigns are held for server staff. Claiming one without the permission for it is denied.
Variations are blocked too
If someone owns 1A-64, you cannot take 1-A64 or
1A6-4 instead. Rearranging the hyphen does not make it a
different callsign.
The UI is locked
You cannot type a callsign straight into the radio or the MDT tablet. Change
it there without /claimcallsign and the server wipes it and
warns you.
Is it free?
Type the callsign you want. This checks the same rules the server does, against the callsigns currently claimed.

XP unlocks the kit. Hours unlock the title.
There are two separate ladders on this server and they are easy to confuse. Level runs 1 to 250, comes from XP, and is what unlocks vehicles, uniforms and weapons. Department rank — Officer, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant — comes purely from hours on duty. Neither feeds the other.
/xp
Or /unlocks, or tap Z for the rank bar.
What pays what
These are base values. What actually lands in your account is usually higher — see the multipliers next to this.
| Action | Base XP |
|---|---|
| Finishing the tutorial — One-off, once per account | 1,500 |
| Completing a callout | 450 |
| Killing an armed hostile — Unarmed civilians pay nothing | 350 |
| Treating another player | 350 |
| Writing an MDT document — Once every 5 minutes | 300 |
| Starting a pursuit | 120 |
| An arrest | 100 |
| A successful PIT | 100 |
| Bagging a weapon as evidence | 75 |
| Starting a traffic stop | 60 |
| Calling EMS or a coroner | 50 |
| Calling a tow or backup | 40 |
| Cuffing a downed suspect | 40 |
| Searching a vehicle | 25 |
| Interacting with a ped | 5 |
| Patching yourself up | 5 |
| Equipping body armour | 3 |
Why you rarely get the base
- Work near other people. Every other player within 60 metres adds ×0.5 to what you earn, up to ×5. A callout worth 450 solo is 900 with two others around, and 2,250 with eight.
- They get paid too. Anyone within 60 metres picks up half the base value for being there — they do not have to have done anything.
- Your level pays you. +1% per level, compounding to ×3.49 at level 250. The same callout that gives a level 1 officer 450 gives a level 250 officer 1,571.
- Cooldowns. Five seconds per action type, and five minutes between paid MDT documents.
/xp shows every one of these live, including what a callout is
worth to you at that exact moment.
What each level opens
A warning about wording: the in-game menus label these gates “RANK” — a locked uniform reads Unlocks at rank 150. That means level 150. Nobody has a department rank of 150.
The whole fleet, by level
Read live from the server’s own configuration — the same tables the
in-game /unlocks panel uses.

Department rank is hours, not XP
Clock in on the MDT and your duty time is banked. Cross a threshold and the Discord role follows automatically.
Rank gates no vehicles at all. What it does give you, besides the title, is the all-white Polar Bear livery for LSSD and SAHP at Sergeant and above, and the Supervisor and Command door tags at Sergeant and Lieutenant.
Two things that surprise people
- Hours and levels are unrelated. A 150-hour Lieutenant who has never run a callout is still level 1, and can still only drive the Monarch.
- Level 250 is the end. Your stored XP stops at 527,382. There is no prestige and nothing beyond it.
The Fast Track Pack sets you to level 250 outright, which unlocks every vehicle, uniform and weapon at once.
